Who are we?

The Friends is a registered charity set up to raise funds for the school in order to provide the “extras” which would not be available within the normal school budget.

What do we do?

During the school year the Friends organise a variety of events for children and parents. We keep parents up to date with these events and how we have spent the money by a regular newsletter sent home with the children.
Our events have included Christmas and Summer fairs, quiz & curry nights, children’s discos, antiques night, casino night, food tasting evenings, make up demonstrations…
We also provide tea and coffee after Mass or celebration every Thursday morning in school, sell refreshments after the Infant Christmas plays and ice-lollies on sports day. We also hold a very popular weekly cake sale in Year 1 classroom every Friday at 3pm for which we have a baking rota, each class taking their turn to provide the buns.

How do we use the funds raised?

Look around you in school and the Friends will have bought many of the things you see. Window blinds, music stands, laminator, sports equipment, playground equipment, computer equipment, computer chairs, whiteboards, books………the list goes on and on. All of these would not have been possible without assistance from the Friends.

And all of it would not be possible without the support of you, the parents.

How can you help?

We rely on your support by giving, buying, helping and attending. Watch out for our monthly newsletter for details of events.
Thank you in anticipation and we look forward to meeting you at our events.
